OK its time again.. I know most kayakers today have roto-molded plastic this dose not pertain to them.
I have Canoe & Kayak that are Gelcoat over Fiberglass/Kevlar, and an SUP that is Epoxy over Fiberglass.. taking them off the storage racks after being stored for 3 years.. the canoe and kayak are covered and the SUP is sort of exposed although between the Canoe and Kayak.
Whats your take, opinion, expert advice on how to clean, polish, and wax these before just dumping them in the water ?
Was thinking Starbrite polish then wax using a dual-action buffer. Last time I use Maguires products but they do not have UV protection.

Good bath wit Dawn blue
Full wipe down with Acetone
Clean up a couple old patched spots, resin & cloth, feathered edges, asndes smooth with 400 & 800 Dry & wet
Starbrite Color restorer, twice w/ DA buffer and orange pad
Starbrite Premium Marine Polish, 1st coat w/ white buffing pad.. wait a week
Will do another coat of Polish by hand
Wait a few weeks and will follow up with a couple coats of Starbrite Premium Marine Wax.
What I should have done is perhaps a full sanding with 1500 dry/wet.. then polished and waxed. maybe next year.
