Sent you a PM, but essentially asked you the same question. Where did everyone go? What happened to all the crew who posted on paddle-fishing.com? DaveR, etc.?
How on earth do people make paddle fishing friends? I know about Facebook groups, but don't feel like those are "my fishing people". It's depressing to always go by myself.
What you're describing accurately says what's going on. We simply need more folks posting up here. That's the main reason I keep active on this site (knowing that not many will be seeing my posts..). It's tough because in many ways my stuff on the 'net is my only form of advertising these days - so you can be sure this only one of the places you'll see me posting on...
I keep hanging around, I guess that's part of being old and stubborn stuck in the mud. I could and have written the history I know of what where when over the past years at least in the paddle fishing side of internet connectivity. My world several have passed on, Terri, Hank, BoneFishWhisperer, Fishhead, and a few are no longer able.
It's all about instant gratification, and likes, and not so much about inter-active conversation in todays modern world. Sorry FB, Insta, Tiker, and snap are just not for me, but my kids live on it.
I been kind of out of it physically for a few years now, taking a break to get a heart transplant, but am up able and willing again, just financially in a hole. Still have a canoe, kayak, and SUP, but no longer own a boat.
