Sry Just Signed up, wanted to let those who know Ray Waldner, that he passed yesterday after a long illness.

Ray is a very dear friend of my who will me missed beyond belief.

His humor, and kindness went above and beyond for anyone he met. His knowledge of marine biology and fishing has been passed onto to so many, it was his life's passion.

I didn't know him but saw his name over the years regarding fishing matters.  RIP in peace sir.

I met Dr. Ray many years ago at a fishing forum ( not Fla Sportsman forum) get together and maintained that friendship for a long time including on this forum.  HE was a member of the West Palm Beach Fishing Club.  He was a go to guy for fish identification and was even a consultant and wrote for Salt Water Sportsman in their fish identification section.  RIP Dr Ray.  You will be missed by many
