It
was a beautiful night on the water with a waxing crescent moon……usually when I
start off with how beautiful it was, sadly those are the reports that aren’t as
productive! I had Scott from the Stuart Rod and Reel Club (about the 33
member to fish with me) aboard and we headed out at 4:00 to a high tide.
Scott led off on the quad marker looking for Tripletail, he had a good swing,
but a miss. After a few more casts he did land a Snapper. We worked
our way West on the South Fork hitting bridge pilings and docks. It was deadly
slow, not even Snapper, but Scott did land a Catfish. I finally got on
the board with a Snook, followed by two more. We worked it hard and
called it a night at 9:30 with only three Snook for the night.
