Headed out, got there about an hour into the incoming tide.  Bait was thin, finally got a big old sheepshead minnow, so I put him out to soak while trying for more bait....

Only caught one fish today, but it was a 24" red   

So good bad day?   Good poor day?  Dunno... my line got bent and I enjoyed the outdoors for a few hours.
