North Florida Whitetails - They are getting frisky

GlennGlenn Senior MemberPosts: 1,801 Captain
I’ve been deer hunting since I was a kid and now at the age of 47. I find myself photographing more than killing, but I still take a couple for sausage and other good eats. ;)

Here in Tallahassee we have a super long rut depending which area you are in. These bucks I have watched since Summer and have photos of them for at least two years. They are getting frisky!

One of them had been fighting with a basketball net or a hammock. Looks like he won this time.

Very nice. We have seen more bucks this year but only a small one is around here now with the shooting going on.

Nice pics guys. There seems to be a lot of bucks this year. I mostly hunt them and rarely get a pic (or a shot). They like to tease me with “now you see me, now you don’t “.
