Hurricane Ian makes landfall in Florida as a 155 mph Category 4 monster leaving 83 dead

Hurricane Ian made landfall Wednesday, 09/28/22, in western Florida at 2:24 p.m. causing panic and wreaking havoc as it destroyed buildings, ripped trees from the ground, caused cars to float away and flooded houses up to their roofs. (channel 13 news)
There's no telling yet how much it will cost to repair damages caused by Hurricane Ian in Florida, but estimates from insurance experts range anywhere from $28 billion to "well over" $100 billion. (NewsNation)

I’ve been in Lee County since it came through, peoples lives are destroyed. Why would you post that subject line?

I am a native Floridian who has lived in Tampa my entire life. I remain shocked by what has  just happened to so many of our fellow countrymen/women.  "Why would you post that subject line?" Covering up the "subject line" will not make it go away.
    Information is vital!
    This out of California:
"My stomach dropped out from under me when I first saw these pictures"
"That area is was my first choice for retirement."
"It’s going to take years to get back to full swing"
"Lots of cheap parkers and center consoles will be sold to "suckers" on the west coast in the coming months."

I did my best to highlight the positive by letting Florida anglers know that our beloved sport is still doing well.

**** Bob, just stop, nobody south of tampa cares..
I am glad to only be a bird hunter with bird dogs...being a shooter or dog handler or whatever other niche exists to separate appears to generate far too much about which to worry.

who really gives a crap about your sport when basic infrastructure is gone (food, water, electric, shelter)?
