Casey Key Help

Headed down to Casey Key with the wife and kids last week of July with my 21' Master Angler.  Any help would be appreciated.  I have really slacked on my research and have never fished the area.  I don't care what we fish for as long as it is inshore/ near shore.  So any suggestions for cast netting bait or buying bait and what to fish for (tarpon, snook, trout, mangrove snapper etc.) and where to start looking.  I have seen a couple of people saying snook in the passes.  I'm from upper big bend, not a lot of snook or tarpon so any guidance would be great.  Do you just drift bait on top or drag on bottom and flow with the current? Or peg them to the bottom and stay spot locked in place? Docks at night? What should I be throwing? Again, any help would be appreciated, even a local guide we could hire that would want to hop on board for a few hours and give us a little local knowledge.
Thanks!
