Reds on the Flats

Went out in a "No Combustion Engine Zone" near/around tampa bay.
Very small incoming tide, clear skys, light wind
Bite started off slow, mostly bait running around on the flats with some mullet around too. Once the flats got ~1.5' of water on them, the reds showed up in full force. They were really finicky, my guess is bc the water was clear with blue sunny skies. Threw everything at them but landed the 1 with a weightless shrimp from US Bait co in a clear-ish slam shady color. Fished the tailers for maybe 1.5 hours for a total of 3 bites, with only 1 landed.
Once the wind picked up it was time to head back, fished and oyster bar on the way out with the 3" swimbait for a bonus small trout and small snapper.

All in, great to be on the water and atleast see the moving around.
