I know they state they run until June30th and no waterfowl hunting until September but just curious when thay have released the new ones in years past. Curious if any will be open or closed this year.

How are you getting into the bombing range this year?  Are you kissing up to whomever has the lock key as well?

The STAs have to be "looked at" each year to determine what will be opened, what will be closed due to construction.  Then surveyed to determine Parking Spots and numbers of permits.  Check Station locations, etc.  Maps have to be prepared.  Most of the "rules" remain the same, although the Walkin No Show system may be adjusted. Since the habitat, open marsh left as the cattails continue to expand, changes, we usually go out in early August to start the work.
