shark bait, finding ladyfish or jacks

Will be based out of Punta Gorda for 10 days starting July 2.  Primarily there for sharks, at south end of the harbor.  Need to find some ladyfish or jacks first.  I figure ladyfish will be along the intercoastal flats north end of Boca, and also on the beaches gulf side of Boca.  Can I find ladyfish north end of the harbor, or Peace River?  Would like to find them closer to where I'm staying.  Will have a center console to fish out of, and couple of teenagers with me.  Thanks!

Been seeing schools of jacks busting bait in the river. Look around and when you see alot of stirred up where you have found them. The large greenbacks make good bait also
