Blue Water RV Park Key West

Hi guys, I have a reservation on that park for late August, I was wandering if someone have been there, it looks gorges<we have one of the spots on the water with the tiki and docking behind, but looking at the GPS map and Google Earth it looks that basin is landlocked, the people that I have talked to there don't have a clear answer, if any one knows the place, it will be much appreciated any info, I need to make a decision if to cancel or simply don't bring the boat.

Never been there, but it looks shallow and the bottom is generally pretty hard in that area. I see some boats in the canal, but getting in and out will depend how much your boat drafts and what the tides are doing. I would want some local knowledge.

And of course August is the time when hurricanes may have a lot to say about any vacation in south Florida and particularly the Keys...

I stayed there a couple of years ago. It is a very nice camp ground.  Much cleaner and nicer than Boyd's.  The boats we saw docked were mostly flats and shallow draft skiffs.  Definitely requires local knowledge. You might try posting this question in the Fla/GA section on the hull truth you will likely find someone who can give you first hand knowledge.
