Limited on Cobia 5/18

We were just at the right place at the right time...I finally got to get my boat offshore last week. We got a late start because I have to take a kid to school in the morning. We ran the beach to the south, but couldn't find any bait. We ran out to JW, and cigars and spanish sardines were everywhere. After baiting up at JW, we ran out to 95" of water. The first spot was all sharks. We moved 3/4 of a mile, and it was game on! There were sharks here too, but they were covered w/ cobia. About every 5-15 min, a shark would swim by w/ a few cobia on it, and the cobia would break from the shark to our boat. Sometimes a group of cobia would just swim up on their own. I've seen this happen before, but not like this. We caught our limit of cobia pretty easily  :). We caught them on cut bait, live bait, and jigs.

Here's our group pic back at the house...
