Fuel prices and fishing

Thinking on fuel prices and costs.  I figure it’s going to cost me 400 bucks to pull my boat down and back   Normally burn about 60 gallons a day Fishing at 4.40 a gallon.  Don’t know if I can afford to go fishing.  Good grief

I’m thankful to have Fish’n buddies that share the $$$. Total expenses last trip was $200 split 3 ways. My 250 Suzuki is very fuel efficient .

I'd look at leaving your rig at a storage facility at the coast during the fishing season. A lot cheaper than pulling back and forth. 

Be sure and find one with a washdown station or fresh water access.

One of my boats holds 300 gallons. The other holds 270. Last fill up with red dyed diesel was $5.10 per gallon. A month or so ago, it was $6 per gallon. I'll be filling them about once per week from now through Labor Day. It inhales vigorously.

And hey to the NW gang BTW. Been a while since I dropped by.
