The last couple trips.

This forum has been pretty dead so I figured I would post some of my most recent trips. 


4/27 Starting out to be a pretty good dolphin year. The first fish we hooked was a nice dolphin and he came unglued right before we went to stick him with the gaff. That really hurts when your first fish of the season pops off the line feet from the boat. Still managed two really nice fish. 12# and 16#



5/5 Got two nice fish. The bigger fish weighed 18#. Released two smaller dolphin that were likely legal but too small to keep IMO. 




When the weather it too sloppy, it's always nice to take my boy on the airboat for some riding and a little bass fishing. He makes sure I bring the fishing gear. Can't wait to take him offshore. I think he's just a little too young. 3yrs. Maybe later in the year on a flat calm day.
