Picked up some live shrimp and ran East to Newy's Reef.  We fished this area for several hours catching and releasing the normal fish, while hoping for a possible Cobia.  Found a pallet in 70 ft that had several small Mahi on it.  Left this area around 1 and headed for the beach.  We looked for Cobia for several hours before calling it a day.  Nice day to be on the water!

Thanks. 74 at the reefs and 73  at the beach to the south of Canaveral.

Ya’ll be sure to let us know here in Jax.  Think our water temp still in the 60s so it’ll be a few more weeks.

I saw several rays jumping here off the beach in Ormond Friday evening while surf fishing.

After posting that yesterday I saw one boat scouting for Cobia off my beach. We almost never see a boat except for the shrimp boats. Wonder if he saw anything....

I fished out of PC on Monday, March 28. Caught a king trolling offshore, and several bluefish near the beach. Pogies were thick inside the port.
