Surf fishing between the Port and points south

This is SammyB. I recently retired. We used to go to Playalinda to do some surf fishing. I want to stay closer to home. We live in Merritt Island. would like to know some locations near us to fish the surf. Also, when is it a good time and what's out there. Thanks...Sam
