Sorry for the late report. Got out early on Sat (2-12-22)....I wanted to beat the crowd. Broke FPI before sunrise and headed south east - I was planning on heading north east but just had a feeling. Dropped the lines in at 7:00am in 90'.....we got our first mahi a few minutes later in 120'. Nice start nice fish around 11 lbs. We got a 2nd one about 25 minutes later. We stayed in the area between 110-170' and picked up a few more. After a bit it slowed down so I headed north-east to try some deeper water. Found some more around 220'. Everything was on ballyhoo today....different setups. Water temp was around 75 degrees. We ended up with 9 in the box....tagged / released one.....and lost a few. Great day and was back in the inlet by 12:30pm. Hope everyone had a chance to take advantage of the nice day.
