I have been trying to contact our agent, Dale, but haven’t been having any luck. Does anyone have any other good insurance people for insurance at the coast. We want to upgrade our insurance to add flood and wind. thank you for any help. - Ken

Flood: flood is underwritten thru FEMA. Contact your agent. They should be able to add this.

I recommend calling you Insurance Company’s 800 number and ask them for information on their Flood Service Center. They will probably have one.
It’s also labeled as 
National Flood Insurance Program or NFIP

You may want to ask about 
Hurricane Occurrence and Deductibles. 

Deductible may be offered at $500, 2% 5% or 10%. $500 is not likely. 

They may consider it windstorm coverage which may be excluded within a coastal area policy.

* Dale prefers emails rather than phone calls. Send him an email with your name and phone# address of property and your request so that he can assign it to the correct person or underwriting dept.
This is not unusual for the insurance industry.
In-fact most companies are selling insurance on line and keeping customers updated thru emails and smart phone apps. It’s what the new generation wants, and saves money and paper products.

Insurance Companies are taking the Covid 19 very seriously and wish to protect their employees.
Most of us are working from home currently and indefinitely. 

Allstate just sold the Headquarters in Northbrook IL, as I understand it. 

They closed my office completely. They may have a claims office with a handful of people and some servers.

Who is Dale? Seems like everyone knows him but me. Maybe I need to look him up for a price check k on my policy.
