Dania to Fort Lauderdale Drift 1 December 2021

The Goggle-eye baits did cooperate off Dania beach during the early morning darkness.  I deployed two on stinger rigs at 90ft on the way out.

Within the first hour of trolling the Gogs were consumed by two smaller sized King Mackerel

With just a couple of Gogs left for bait, the rest of the day was a Jigathon.  Had I brought a chicken rig, I probably could have taken a limit of small Vermillions.

A big Mutton Snapper made the day!

Other catches included Triggerfish, Little Tunny, Blackfin, and 1 for 3 hookups on Amberjacks.

Fishing was good right at sunrise and a slow pick over the rest of the day.  I kept the Mutton and two of the Blackfins.  A Little Tunny was used as bait.  All other fish were released to fight again another day.
