Which lakes are the best to fish on the Clermont chain im looking for largemouth I also saw that it has smallmouth I didnt think they were in Florida which lake is the best for smallmouth

Clermont chain is chock full of googans with ski boats and pontoon boats blazing all over the place and going to the Tiki bar because it's the place to be seen.

I was just there. Do what i do to avoid all the idiots. Go to Lake Louisa State park with a kayak, canoe or jon boat (trolling motor only allowed).  Several lakes to fish with no one else around. You can rent a kayak if you dont have one. Enjoy!!!!

As for the idiots: go on weekdays in the mornings (before 10 am.).  As for a specific spot: if you can't toss a worm or Devil's Horse out into the lake from the old RR bridge on the W. side of the lake and catch a bass there must be some other sport calling you.
