Seat Cover Question

BasstarBasstar Posts: 529 Officer
My apologies that this is not a paddling question but this was the best forum I could think of to help with my decision since paddlers are wet when the fishing day is over.

I am new to Florida and will be primarily wade fishing which leaves me soaked with saltwater when I’m done.

How do you guys protect your vehicle  seats after you’re finished fishing for the day to drive home?

Up until now I have used a towel but I’m thinking with the extended use I will have now that I am here more I might consider some sort of a car seat cover.

 Thanks

Yes you can consider seat covers - but all I've ever used is two big beach towels that I keep in my truck -on days when I come home looking like a drowned rat....  One other strategy is to simply keep a nice dry T-shirt, shorts, and a pair of flip flops in your vehicle to change into on days when you come home leaving a trail of puddles...

I'm not a casual boater since I've been working as a guide for many years and every day I'm working out of Chokoloskee or Flamingo I'll be towing my skiff 93 miles one way to get there and again at the end of the day to get home.... I also have more than one pair of deck shoes to allow soggy shoes to dry out for a day instead of having to wear them day after day in the wet season...

Hope this helps - aren't boats fun?

I have a seat cover but also keep a few towels in my truck just for that reason.
