trailer set up

I purchased a new trailer for my sea hunt br22bx. What is a good starting width to set the bunks up at? is there a spot on the hull specific to rest on the bunks?

Does the trailer manufacturer still have the trailer?   Sometimes, they can adjust the bunks there to specs they have on file.

Usually, the dealer will adjust them... Its easier to adjust when at any dealer with a straps/hoists.

BUT, its rather easy to do yourself as well.   Measure the hull and look at the strakes and the flat spots on the hull.  Then, adjust the bunks in or out according to those marks.

This might take a few loads at the ramp itself.  So, its nice to go during the week with a buddy to help.

    Nice boat !!

I set all of my boats to rest on the flat part of the strake (Not sure  if that's the exact term) but i balance it off with the clearance from the cross members.

    Best of luck !

It will depend on if your bunks are flat on top, or tapered to match the deadrise of your hull.
