Crystal River trolling 9/14

It had been sometime since being out on the water mainly due to the unpredictable weather patterns so I decided to go see if trolling would produce anything. If nothing a day on the water and possibly locating some new spots for when it cools down even more. Wasn't expecting much because there is still quite a bit of live bait out there and warm water. Left FIT ramp about 0815 to a smooth ride out NW of the channel. It produced only two short gags within the first hour and then things shut down. Water temp was 83 degrees. I trolled the 15-28 foot depths. No weeds which made trolling by myself nice and easy. So for all you trolling addicts out there it appears to me that for trolling to heat up is still a few weeks away like its usual schedule.
