The weatherman here must be cloned from the one up North (or vis-a-versa). The forecast was for light NE wind and seas 2' or less out to 20 miles. I turned around this morning when I got to 15 ' of water due to the 2-3 ' breakers pushed by winds of 12-15 mph. Several other boats larger than my 20' bay boat turned back also. It reminds me of the forecasts for western Lake Erie (consistently wrong).
On another note, water temp was a consistent 82.8 degrees, floating weeds everywhere from 12' out, many schools of bait fish from 10' out to 15', especially around PP channel markers 31 and 32. I had two big hits there but the fish didn't get hooked. That was my day of fishing. Now for my afternoon of beer drinking.

I may not always agree with what you say,
but I will always respect your right to be wrong!
Way back in the early 80's before I moved here I used to fish in western Lake Erie. Friend had a cottage on Kelly's Island. That was some good fishing and good eating.
