I am going fishing this coming week and want to know of any decent spots in the river to catch bull reds. From sisters creek to doctors lake generally because I don't have a ocean capable boat.

Pretty much any channel edge from the dames point to Mayport inlet. Chunk of blue crab or mullet with enough lead to hold bottom in the currents

try the channel edge opposite of Sister's Creek.  Use just enough lead to hold bottom (fishing near slack tides can help with this) and a large circle hook with cut mullet or blue crab (cut ladyfish is my favorite bait), and drop it down 40ft.  Use heavy enough gear to get them to the boat quickly and release them quickly and the fish will swim away.  If your fish doesn't go down, chase him down and vent if needed, but make sure they swim away alive and protect the resource.
