they should have held it at and outdoor rest/bar on beach, where they could get the full effects of red tide. Probably more anglers than redfish left at this point.
Yea that’s what I’m afraid of coming out of this summit. If they close Redfish harvest for another two years because of Piney Point I’m skeptical we will ever eat another Redfish again.

I am glad to only be a bird hunter with bird dogs...being a shooter or dog handler or whatever other niche exists to separate appears to generate far too much about which to worry.
This was just the first of meetings to discuss redfish management. They were looking for input on what we felt were the primary issues affecting the redfish populations, both coast, as well as thoughts on how the manage them going forward. There will be follow up meeting around the state to discuss in more detail as well as specifics for the corresponding area. Check FWC’s site for the dates.
