Hey everyone. I know August is usually the time for the shrimp to start running. Anyone getting any good reports?

bait a bait size. All you want in mills cove area of the river.

Only saw one person on city dock today,no boats in the river I have had poor results only caught shrimp Thursday

They are spread pretty thin from green cove to Dr's inlet. There are plenty if you just want to bait up for fishing and they are growing so there are some mediums but not many. I don't know who loaded up in green cove but it wasn't me and I've been looking only for bait for a month. I have managed 4 very large, net ripping gar...not cool. But they do seem to know where the thickest shrimp are.

We did pretty decent tonight at the green cove pier. While they were hot we were getting around a dozen a cast before it died. Guy next to us was getting 20-30 a cast. We we’re chumming with the bait binder brand chum.
