Well yesterday got a few hours of trolling in before storm. This fish was caught on one of my homemade trolling rigs. Makes the catch that much sweeter. And a very happy angler.
Today I spent a few hours solo fishing St.Andrews on our bay boat. This was a nice change of pace for me. Had a blast and boxed some of these guys. The fish were unwilling to take live bait so had to artificial bait ‘em.
My wife woke me up this morning and said let’s go bay fishing. It doesn’t take much to convince me to go fishing. Bay boat was at the dock, so tied on a few lures and off we go. Here is one of the slot red fish we boxed during our trip. All fish were caught in a 1 1/2 ~2 ft of water.
Another great day on the gulf as we are back to bring red snapper to the dock. Also doing a little bit of bird sitting. And finally eating a few bananas on the boat between drops. Getting after ‘em tomorrow hope seas are a little better. Big blow coming soon. Catch ‘em up
Well our Son-in-law was in town over the holiday weekend. He really wanted to go fishing. Well we only had about a 4 hour window on yesterday. With the upcoming closure of gag grouper in about 5 days. We decided to go gag grouper fishing. Ended up catching 6 gags and releasing some r snap. Here is his best grouper of the short trip. So we got to enjoy fresh grouper for dinner cooked on the Blackstone.
