Although the jax kayak website is dead, you can still search many topics from when the site was very active over several years.  Click this link and in the search, type  in Goodbys Creek.

Plenty of docks to try between Beauclerc Point and Epping Forest. Chose ones with a little more tide and where it's 3-6 feet deep to start.......and do NOT just fish the ends.......walkways up to where it's 3 feet, or even a little less can be productive.

If you use bait know that once the small mangroves and pinfish and ladyfish move in it can get annoying.......

Lures, not so annoying......but....early.....bait can do a number.

And there will be sheepshead, drum and other good stuff around too.

Same sorts of things you'd throw in the intracoastal, though I'd also add a shallow running crankbait to the mix, in a bright color, as reds will take them when dredged along the bottom. Same thing with Rat-L-Traps.

Shrimp of course, but also pieces of crab and whatever sorts of small fish you can catch in the castnet. Small croakers work quite well.

Docks to the north and the first few to the south will hold fish. You can troll soft plastic s. There are some docks that have shell beds around them that will produce fish. Try top water twitch baits and rattle traps like bswiv stated
