Big trout and more

Fished St Joe Bay yesterday with a couple buddies. Pompano, some blues, and a bunch of trout. We had 6 slot fish 16”-22”, and released another 22, 23. 23 1/2, 25, and a 28” which is my personal best. That’s the most trout of that size I’ve ever caught in one trip. Plus a bunch of lady fish, one of which thanked me by burying a treble hook in my thumb. The guys with me were scared to pull it out with a loop of mono, so we got one of the local guides to do it. Only one pic, the guy in it took the rest and hasn’t sent them to me yet. Most of the fish on plastics and Mirrodines, the three largest on live pin fish we were dragging behind the boat while drifting. Still no reds, I haven’t figured them out up here yet.
