New topic

Getting bored looking at 10k area and nothing new.Well,
fishing wise a lot new down here.
Large tarpon starting to return, have not seen any
yet but several reports there coming by.
Trout are fewer but the ones were getting are larger
but filled with roe.Lots of small snook thru out 10k and
larger snook than in past years. With still closed season
that should continue.
Reds around but scattered,a red here and there.
    Boat traffic unbelievable.Goodland,Monday was
huge with the parking lot completely full.Remember
days last year, one trailer parked and when we returned
in the"good old days"two trailers there.

Saw tarpon rolling Sunday, no hook ups.
Caught several small snook on the outside. Water temps are still low 70's.
On our way back to goodland we were approaching **** key and my wife sees fins out of the water and tells me to stop., it was a 8-10' hammerhead cruising.
And yes it was ridiculous boat traffic, Calusa didnt have a parking spot to be had.

Thanks for the update - I'll be down in EC in a couple weeks or so from SC and have also been lamenting the lack of new content here!

I have been waiting for the population of people to subside. Looking forward to getting back out in quieter times.

Would like someone to start a topic on how to
    catch tarpon,reds,snook,pompano or sheepshead.
Yes,I've caught then all but each of you have some
    insights on how and when.
