Got a question.

I've got a very grainy phone picture of a barred owl and a hummingbird is perched on a twig in front of his face, about 6" away.  So what's the hummer doing there?  Being pals, perched in a safe place from predators, or is he taunting the owl?

I would say the humming bird is far too fast for such a large predator to capture. They probably both know it and tolerate one another since it could never catch it.
