bluefish....no question. BTW..generally not thought of as great tasting...makes amazing cerviche...after a few minutes the lime will bleach the meat to pure white.
Two filets and a couple of squid on a 12/0 hook and you got you some shark bait right there. Some peeps eat em but they're pretty soft and nasty tasting. Bluefish
recipe: season with butter, salt and pepper, place on cedar plank and grill at 500 degrees for 15 minutes.....remove from grill, lift fish off cedar plank with spatula, throw in trash and eat the plank.....much better....
100% bluefish. as said already, good eating under 5lbs. remove blood line, batter and fry day off, they’re great. wait a day or freeze, and they’re rubish. kids prefer fried bluefish over fried spainish
