Ladies Galore

9 Feb 2021...Wabasso/Johns Island...Fog on the way South.  Figure as long as there is black in front of the truck, keep going.  Slowed down to let the vehicles behind me pass, but they wouldn’t.  Whole lot of fog on the water.  Internal TD’s working made it to a good area, nothing but short Snook.  Had a total of 15 short Snook on the day.  Second problem of the day, The Minnkota electric died, battery indicator light only thing working.  Been problematic since I got it.  Lasted a whole year.  Whole day with the push pole and paddle. Next stop after the fog lifted, Hobart Landing.  Nothing to start, then hit the channel edges.  The show started, one Ladyfish after another.  One little Blue managed to get through.  Afternoon stop on the way home was worse.  Again, non stop Ladies.  Got the line cut  three times.  Suspect Spanish Mackerel.  Had three big boils behind top waters, definitely not Macks or Cats.
Estuary/Johns Island...Love an audience, family watching from their dock.  Jacks in the 2 to three pound range were in the neighborhood.  Really put on a good show on 4# test.
Boat hooked up, new electric set up, ready to roll in the AM.
