Bridges and Crossroads

Made it out today on the boat. Forgot how cold it was this morning. Fished the Evan's Crarey Bridge and landed two puffer fish, a Spanish mackerel. Headed to the Crossroads and caught a pompano, several Jack Crevalles, a horse eye jack, sheepshead, and ladyfish. We were  using 4 dozen live medium shrimp. Started out at 7:30am and finished at 3:00pm. Good luck to all.

The Evan's Crary Bridge is more commonly known as the "Ten Cent" bridge, Ocean Blvd, A1A in Stuart going from the mainland to Sewell's Point, near Benihana, over the St. Lucie River.  The "Crossroads" is where the St. Lucie River crosses the Intercoastal Waterway / Indian River.  Now for a little more education, the "Twenty-Five Cent" bridge is the Ernest Lyon's and goes over the Indian River / Intercoastal Waterway and goes from Sewell's Point to Hutchinson Island, also Ocean Blvd., A1A.  In the old days, it cost ten cents to cross to Sewall's Point although the wealthy lived on Hutchinson Island and they charged twenty-five cents to cross.  Hopefully, this helps.

Great job, much better than I did.  I ran out to Peck's Lake which was very sporty and cold.  Not one bite or knockdown, it was rough, so we trolled down and back.  Stopped at the flotilla and cast green glass minnow jigs without success.
