What to expect in first week of April

I’m coming down to Redington Shores the first week of April. This is only my third trip there. 

First trip there last January was great. Summer trip was decent. This January was terrible due to a cold front snd wind. 

I’ll be on foot and have a dock at our rental and access to a few other docks in the bay. I may also hit some bridges and maybe the jetty around John’s pass. 

We’re flying in so my gear is limited but I mostly fish live bait so it’s typically no big deal. 

Just trying to get a feel for what’s biting and accessible by foot.
