Adventure on Barron River?

While I am normally in my center console relying on engine power a buddy and I are contemplating a trip up the Barron river in a canoe with an electric motor. Is this a fools errand or will we be able to catch some fish?

Remember if you’re paddling one way or the other... there’s always some tidal current up in the river.  At some point you’ll have to paddle against it and be working hard to get where you want to go...

I've seen schools of Snook stacked up at that bridge in the dead of Winter
