V8 spicy drink with other Bloody mary ingredients is good, premixed stuff is ok.  Try it with Tequila, it gives it a kinda earthy taste and has become my overall favorite.  I think it is called a Bloody Maria

I only use Claussen pickles their juice is the best for Bloody marys.   First had it at a Mellow mushroom and it is a game changer in the bloody mary world.

The most important ingredient is Smirnoff 100 proof  and if you are of sufficient age above 55, to drink cask strength Scotch neat then over proof white Jamaican Rum and lunch it with celery stalk and two jumbo Key West pinks

At some point a drink may become a food item. I've seen many things in Bloody Marys. As I said in another thread, I like them with clamato juice instead of regular V8 or tomato juice. A piece of celery is ok for a swizzle stick but the rest of the stuff, I'd rather eat separately.

strongly second the clamato juice and add a pepperocino and big olive on a toothpick.

I like a traditional Bloody Mary!

Smirnoff Vodka, Sacramento Tomato Juice, Good quality Horseradish and not from a jar unless you can find Atomic Horseradish or go to a restaurant for commercial grade, a bit of garlic and onion powder, celery salt and a squeeze of lemon. A shot of Worcheshire sauce and hot sauce if preferred and possibly some Old Bay or Tony Thatchery Cajun seasoning. I've never heard of pickle juice in a bloody but hey if you like it!

Another good ingredient is fresh jalapeno cut up real fine, seeds and all and let it sit in a pitcher overnight of either Clamato, which I like the best) or any other tomato juice you like.  I also add in that pitcher, garlic salt, worcestershire, pepper, tobasco and horseradish.  Keeping it overnight in fridge really infuses everything into the tomato juice. When serving I like Lime instead of lemon.  I also use store bought ice for this or any cocktail.  You can tell the difference in taste from the ice you get from your fridge icemaker.
