Anyone wanting to travel abroad for a trip, I highly suggest check out queposfishadventure.com. The owner Andy is from Texas and is one of the classiest most upfront people I have dealt with. I fished three days on his boat the Mucho Fisho with Capt Alex. We caught a pile of Mahi.

Last time I fished there all we caught were sails, must of been spring, Rooster fish is on my bucket list, Nice Catch good eating!

What’s the quepos area like? Planning a trip for July. First time to Costa Rica.  Bringing my GF who likes to fish as well, but also want to get into the party scene a little if we can. Probably would hit two locations in roughly a 7 day trip. Btw am I dene or is the search function gone?

I would suggest Los Suenos/Jaco area.    Same fishing and much better nightlife!
