Have some company in town this week, including my 5-yr old nephew.
Found some nice conditions on Sunday and steamed 2.5 mi offshore to some hardbottom in 30 ft. Anchors away, and wore my crew out with a mixed bag of rod-benders. Everything eats squid, and I was quite entertained with the variety that came aboard. 6 species, including one 16" RG and a slightly larger gag.
Out and back in 3 hrs, and smiles for miles on the way back in. Little dude had a blast and is proudly telling everyone about his giant grouper-fish and really cool puffer. The baker-lady at Publix was impressed
Some very nice weather coming this week - take a kid fishing!
