FATBOYZ FISHING FOODIE FANDANGO PRESENTS: THE EAST MEETS WEST BLUE INFUSION SERIES;ROAST PORK/JUST KIDDING ATTEMPT #1

    ROAST PORK/JUST KIDDING
EAST: ASIAN STEAMED (& SMOKED) CORN SEASONED WITH SUSHI RICE SEASONING, SLOW SOMKED THICK CUT BACON STUFFED WITH MUSHROOM, ONION, AND MUSHROOM.
WEST: SWEET VERMOUTH REDUX SAUCE, VITA COCO COCONUT WATER, SALTED BUTTER, SLEEPYTIME TEA & HONEY, AND AMERICAN SPIRIT BLACK TOBACCO SMOKED IN A BRIARWOOD PLAYBOY SPECIAL PIPE.

Pirates were a little disappointed. Never knew that pirates could be such critics!!! Can't blame them, they are used to Sanji's cooking so it is hard to compete!!

This dish was inspired by FOOD WARS Season one episode one. Soma (the main character) prepared this dish for the woman who was trying to shut down his restaurant. I smoked the potatoes instead of steaming them as Soma did and that proved to bee the fatal mistake.  It was supposed to look like the picture below:

After eating, the UMAMI EXPLOSION should inspire a FOODGASM (Pictured below) but my attempt fell short of the CLIMAX.

Instead it left me feeling under-satisfied, as pictured below. Oh well, will DEFINITELY make another attempt at this dish again!!!

FATBOYZ FISHING FOODIE FANDANGO PRESENTS: THE EAST MEETS WEST BLUE INFUSION SERIES; SINGAPORE NOODLE SMOKED MASH-UP

    SINGAPORE NOODLE SMOKED
EAST: MEI FUN STYLE RICE NOODLES, CURRY POWDER, SESAME OIL, SUSHI RICE SEASONING, OoLONF TEA, AND SLICED SLOW SMOKED TURNIP.
WEST: BACON WRAPPED SHRIMP, SLOW SMOKED SAND (YELLOW) TROUT, SLICED SMOKED EGGPLANT, BEEF BROTH.

The pirates were happy with this dish. Buggy could not keep his hands off it! A dish par on the level as a Sanji dish. I got a little out of order as this dis was actually made before the ROAST PORK/JUST KIDDING.

Made chicken stir fry last night and a venison pot roast from a doe I killed last weekend. No picture of pot roast but here is stir fry in the wok

@restlessnative: Nice Wok! I like the blend of yellow and red peppers in there! More colors make the dish more voluptuous!!! Do you add a sauce or just go seasonings and natural juices?

Make a sauce that goes on towards the end.
    2t sesame oil
1/2 cup chicken broth (I make my own as it goes in a lot of recipes)
    2T soy sauce
    1T rice vinegar
2t chili paste (I use sambal oelek)
    2t cornstarch to thicken it.
Obviously you can adjust to your tastes, like more chili paste if you like heat. Veggies this time were the peppers, onion, broccoli, snow peas, ginger and garlic, but depends what I have on hand and mushrooms,  carrots, celery and other stuff will sometimes join the wok.

I feel like you are every guy I fish with.  My wife always asks me “are your fishing buddies married? Do they have kids? What do they do for work?”  I say “I don’t know.”  She says “what the hell do you talk about for 12 hours on a boat”?  Well, Cooking food, eating food, and restaurants.  And sometimes where are the fish?  But mostly the food stuff.

There's more than food and fish to talk about?
