I had a friend visiting and he wanted to go fishing. We went into the back country and he was struggling with his casting. I caught a few fish and i was feeling bad because it was clear that he wasn't going to catch anything. Luckily i brought my shark rod so i kept a jack and headed for a shallow sandbar adjacent to a deep channel near Dismal Key. I put the head on the shark rod and butterflied the carcass and hung it overboard. Within 10 minutes the drag was screaming and it was fish on. I came tight on the fish and handed him the rod and he brought in a 4ft bull shark. A bad day was saved by "the man in the grey suit"😎.
Now if we could teach them not to eat the gamefish we'd really be in business! Gotta love the reaction to someone's first shark in the glades. Nice work Bob.
