Whitetail Deer Antlers to Donate

Have a pretty good bunch of deer antlers on scull caps from UP of Michigan. Not record category, but some nice ones, plus some smaller. I know they have some value, but I would like to find a boy/girl scout group or other youth or challenged group that could use them for crafts or mount to sell for decorating. I see they are pretty popular at flea markets, etc. Wondering if anyone can put me in touch of such a group, Punta Gorda or anywhere fairly close by. Thanks, Frank. Can post here or PM.

I may know of such a group in Venice.  If you don't mind them not being in Punta Gorda I will check with them and see.  I would be willing to pick up for them, if it all works out.

That would be great Cap'n Mark. They represent a lot of great memories for my wife and I. Brought them down when we moved to Florida full time several years ago, would like to see someone deserving get some get some enjoyment. Will check here, or pm, can meet you part way too, no problem. Thanks

I have contacted my friend who has been involved in scouting here locally for close to twenty years.  I will send you a PM with all the specifics when he gets back to me tomorrow. I have also contacted a friend who works with challenged adults at a facility here. Between the two I am positive I can find a good home for them.  I have worked to support both of these groups in the past and would like to thank you for offering to help out like this. It is through the generosity of people like yourself that we as a society are able to reach our true potential.

Saw 'em off and give them to the dogs.  They (including ours) love to chew on them and they last a long time.  Also, have never had one splinter with the dogs.  One of them is a Shar Pei with quite a set of jaws too.
