Looking for Captain on my boat

Coming down to islamorada in November, looking for a guide/captain that will go offshore on my boat. Any suggestions?

Not really sure if Piner goes up that far but he is your guy if he does.  He's out of Big Pine I think.  It's like going to a classroom on your boat

that is out  of my range- too far north and i dont have dependable marks there as it is so far away

Shameless plug time: Piner_Wahoo (Harlan) came on our boat this summer and I learned a ton from him.  Oh, and we caught several nice fish too!  I would highly recommend him, and it might be worth taking a day to trailer your boat a little further south to get him on board.  If it helps you decide, he told me November is a great time for wahoo!

Thanks, but my boat isn't trailerable. We're planning on staying at Postcard. Any other suggestions for a good captain with local information?

I would contact one of the guide services at Bass Pro Shops right there in Islamorada.  There are probably 50 guides that run out of there.  Even if one doesn't do on your boat guiding they will definitely know who does and who they would recommend.  They have all the guides classified by the type of fishing so that even narrows things down.
