A little fiberglass advice please

I am thinking a thin saturating coat of 105, sand and then 410 fairing filler, sand, paint, clear coat?

If you don't get a response here post your question over on Microskiff.com, the boat yard board... Lots of DIY types there as well as more than a few professional glass men...

I would give it a couple coats of epoxy primer and paint it with a good single stage paint. Nason would be my choice.

Mostly concerned with the loose exposed glass. Do you think the primer will be adequate to “lock it back down” so to speak?

Sand it between coats, you will be able to see if it is.
