Time to thin the herd even though I thought this was the last rifle I would ever part with. I purchased a model 99 Brush gun in 358 win about a year ago, and I don't see me using the model F anymore, so no sense to let it just sit in the safe. The model 99 F was probably the lightest and quickest handling models Savage produced in the 50's and 60's. This is a pre mil serial # manufactured in 1958. It has the lever safety, and brass shell counter. The bluing is in excellent condition, and case coloring on the lever is excellent also. The stock is in very good condition for it's age, and i tried to show any dings in the attached pictures. Scope has been sold, comes with bases and rings, but I am keeping the sling for the 358. I will only do a face to face sale within 40-50 miles of Venice Florida with a bill of sale provided. Buyer must have Florida DL and preferably a CC permit. Price is $650 firm, and thanks for looking.
I was asked about trades. The only thing I;m looking for is a good 10x42 Binocular along the lines of Meopta Meostars or something similar quality wise, thanks.

Is this savage model 99f 300 savage still for sale. If it is still for sale, I live in Jacksonville Fl and willing to drive to Venice Fl to do a face to face at a FFL dealer.
