Tarpon still here?

I am new to forum fishing. I was wondering if anybody has been seeing tarpon of the surf lately that would be good for the kayak? Any recent sightings? I know I've seen them in Clapborne before rolling around. Has anyone seen them there in catching numbers? I would really like to hook a nice one 25+lbs. I got some perfect size pin fish.

I saw one gulping air off Ft. Lauderdale yesterday.  They are in my area pretty much year round.
