Redfish bite the past few weeks has been very good. Majority of them have been slot but we're starting to see some of those 30-35" fatties. Pinfish, shrimp, cut ladyfish, or soft plastics it hasn't really mattered. Just find mullet around structure and moving water. Temps have been teetering around 81-83F most days.
Ton's of bait out on the flats and I've seen some decent schools of Spanish Macks/jacks working them. Heard the trout have moved in quite a bit but I haven't fished for them much personally. Probably won't have enough water for reds with the 15-20mph east wind tomorrow so I may give that a go.
have the jumbo scallops moved swam in yet, I'l like to charter if they have..
I am glad to only be a bird hunter with bird dogs...being a shooter or dog handler or whatever other niche exists to separate appears to generate far too much about which to worry.
