186 Key West

186 Key West has been my baby since new here in Jacksonville, FL. She has been a very comfortable and dependable boat, but it is time for someone else to enjoy time on the water with her.
I have added items over the years such as a front pedestal seat, leaning post at the helm, and a motor bracket on the back for a rear mounted 24 volt electric trolling motor. It will seat 6 comfortably with 2 on the cooler in front of the center console, 2 on the leaning post and 2 in the rear jump seats. It also has a built-in tackle box in the center console, dive platform with foldable ladder, and bimini top. Plenty of rod holders and cup holders to go around.
For the mechanical minded people, like me, she has a 2005 Yamaha 4 stroke F115 engine. Gets up on plane quite quickly since I have the whale tail on the lower unit. I have had the fuel injectors replace last year, replaced the engine oil and lower unit oil at the beginning of this year. Hydraulic steering, all gauges work, tach, speedometer, fuel, trim and temperature. All electronics are detachable and do work, VHF radio, Garmin depth finder, Garmin GPS with reef coordinates. Just replaced the bilge and live well pumps last year.
Aluminum trailer has had leaf spring axil replaced with torsion axil 5 years ago. Guideposts, and running boards are in good shape. Rewired lights at beginning of this year, spare tire is included. Bearings are greased every year religiously. Danforth anchor is included but I do have a Jetty anchor to go with it.
Like I said, she was my baby since new and I have taken care of it as should be expected. Serious inquires only please, email me at [email protected]
